Shah Rukh Khan always celebrates all Indian festivals at home in the company of his family. And his children have grown up with religious influence from both their mother’s and father’s side. They sit together rand read the Quran as well as chant religious mantras on Diwali.
“This year, Diwali is a real day of celebration for me and my family. My marriage anniversary falls on this day, along with two birthdays — my son’s as well as my sister’s. My films too usually release on this day. ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ is a special film for me since it’s from the YRF production house.
“We visit Yashji’s house every Diwali. Hence, this Diwali too, we will go and meet Pam Auntie.”
“With so many happy occasions on this day, November 13 will always remain in my memory. I am looking forward to Diwali 2012,” he says.
