Shah Rukh Khan’s house on fire, tweets about safety after blaze

Fire broke out at Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's beach-facing bungalow ‘Mannat’ on Thursday night, but the superstar says all is safe.

A short circuit in one of the washroom’s triggered off the fire alarm, reported local dailies.

The fire brigade successfully douzed the blaze.

"All safe on the house front. Thanks to all departments concerned," Shah Rukh posted on Twitter on Friday.

However, part of King Khan’s tweet has raised a few eyebrows.  'Now that the house is on fire let's warm ourselves', he tweeted, which didn't seem viable though.

A source close to the actor said Friday that it was a minor accident and things were under control.

"Nothing to worry. It was just a minor thing and everything is under control," a source close to the actor said.
