Shakira's 'Milan' takes baby steps on Twitter

Fans got the first glimpse of Colombian singer Shakira's baby when the father, Gerard Pique, posted the baby feet of Milan Pique Mebarak on Twitter.

Captioned as "Milan's feet", the tweeted image shows two cute baby feet wearing sneakers that has the baby's name stitched in red and blue - which happen to be the colors of Gerard's football club - FC Barcelona.

The 35-year-old pop singer Shakira gave birth to a baby boy Milan Piqué Mebarak on Tuesday (January 22) and proudly announced the new arrival both on Twitter and her official website.

Announcing his birth, the singer revealed that he was all ready to follow in the footsteps of his 25-year-old father, boyfriend footballer Gerard Pique, stating: 'Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth.'
