Veena Malik has been surrounded by controversy ever since she stepped into the reality show 'Bigg Boss'.

Now when she is venturing into another reality show, 'Swayamvar 4: Veena Ka Vivaah', the lady doesn't want the tag of 'controversy' as her middle name.

Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik who is currently in Dubai has clarified that she will not strip for Hollywood.

"I would never strip for any industry, this is {sic: are} absolutely silly comments coming from press and media and mostly, it upsets me and my fans. I’m an actress and everyone in this industry is doing what the role requires, I will act according to my role needed but this doesn’t mean I forget my values,’’ said Veena Malik.

This clarification comes in the wake of media reports that she is ready to strip for Hollywood. She said she would rather work within the culture of a country but that does not necessarily mean stripping.

"I have three films out this year, plus Swayamvar and other projects. I have had many offers from international publications which require a bold shoot which we have refused."

"I have my principles in work and do that which suits my personality and style", said the actress.

Embroiled in controversy, Veena has been away from Pakistan for a while but she now plans to visit her family and friends in her home country. Recenetly, she has been spending most of her time in India.

After the FHM nude photo shoot fiasco, her father Ali Malik reportedly disowned Veena and hoped for a suitable punishment for his daughter.

She has now made amends with her father and will be going to Pakistan to see her family.

"Every father has the right to tell their child if they think they are wrong, my father is no different but now my dad has cooled down and we are totally fine, I’ll be seeing them all in a few weeks, which I am very excited about’’.

Veena Malik is now looking forward to the release of her Bollywood item song ‘Channo’ in Nitin Manmohan’s 'Gali Gali Chor Hai'. The promos will be soon out and Veena is keeping her fingers crossed.

While in Dubai, Veena sealed few deals for 2012 and hopes to make her mark in Bollywood.

Her films 'Zindagi 50/50', 'Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai' and 'Mumbai 125Km' – have all been filmed and are all set to be released in 2012.
