Why Kareena-Saif are evading the wedding issue?

There are so many rumours and speculations going around that nobody is sure if Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are getting married on October 16 in Pataudi.

Months after Sharmila Tagore confirmed to the media that the duo are finally tying the knot after living in sin for so long, speculations about the date and venue continue to dodge the couple.

However, the blushing bride Kareena refuses to clear the air about the wedding details and Saif, a groom for the second time, says it's not a big deal.

And now even Saif's little sister, Soha Ali Khan, shies away from talking about the wedding, when in the past, she has been the one to give away dates and details of when, where and how her brother and Kareena would be married. All this even before the passing away fo Tiger Pataudi.

Soha says that she is quite confused and is not even sure about the date or the venue.

Looks like the Indian media has to go back and reconfirm the date and venue of the wedding with veteran actress Sharmila.

Now, there are rumours of the wedding venue being moved to London as Saif cannot decide whom to invite and whom not to and he also doesn't want the frenzy that is associated with Bollywood weddings. All he wants is a quiet wedding, which would not be possible in India.

Meanwhile, could this evasive tactic have anything to do with Kareena's 'Ram Leela' fiasco with Sanjay Leela Bhansali? The ace director claims he did not know about Kareena's impending marriage (this, when the world and their neighbour knew about it) and the following dirt being kicked up after SLB allegedly kicked Kareena out of the Romeo Juliet remake in Hindi.

Life seems to have come a full circle for Kareena, given that she picked up the plum Heroine's role after Aishwarya was almost forced to let of of it when her pregnancy was announced to the world. Now, Kareena is bowing out of a film because "Leela" cannot be a married woman.

Is Kareena's shelf life towards its end or is this just a dark spot in her career?

Life will not be easy for Kareena even after she gets married. Once they tie the knot, the media and her fans will be keeping a close eye on her size zero figure and any signs of horizontal expansion. After all, let's not forget how the media hounded Aishwarya and almost every other day there was some rumour or the other about her apparent 'pregnancy'.
