He maybe still following the terms of a plea deal that includes community labour, five years of formal probation and domestic violence counselling for his highly publicised run-in with Rihanna, but that certainly isn’t stopping American R&B artist, Chris Brown, to make his way to Dubai in November for a concert extravaganza.

The singer will bring his F.A.M.E tour to Dubai Festival City on December 9, with the announcement made on his official website, Chirsbrownworld.com.

With over a million singles sold in the United Kingdom alone from his Top 10 album “F.A.M.E”, Dubai will set the stage for his first tour in three years.

Brown has co-written the majority of “F.A.M.E.”, the follow-up to his two-time Grammy-nominated 2009 album, “Graffiti”.

The album offers up rocking collaborations with Justin Bieber, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, among others, with the most talked about single being “She Ain’t You”, which takes a page from the late Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature” and SWV’s “Right Here”.

Insiders are saying this new single, which reminisces of a lost love, is the singer’s ode to the former girlfriend and Grammy winner, Rihanna, to whom he formally apologised over the domestic violence altercation and accepted full responsibility for.

The 22-year-old singer shot to fame in 2005 with the self-titled album “Chris Brown”, featuring the hit track, “Run It!”; the single which topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts and made Brown the first male artist to have his debut single top the chart since Montell Jordan in 1995.

Brown followed up the success with his second album, “Exclusive” two years later, which features more smash hit singles, including “With You” and “Kiss Kiss”.

The third studio album, “Graffiti”, in 2009 made Brown a household name with smash hits such as “I Can Transform Ya”, which also featured Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

However, things turned south for the singer the same year when Brown pled guilty to felony assault of Rihanna. The case had such a negative affect on his career that he lost out on several endorsement deals and had to cancel his upcoming tour.

With his 2009 indiscretions now behind him, Brown is back in the limelight for another bow. Watch this space for more details on his Dubai show.
