Sonakshi Sinha steps out from her homely, next door girl image and becomes bolder and spicier in Prabudheva’s ‘R…Rajkumar’ by not just slapping the hero onscreen, but also mouthing swear words.

She shares, “I must confess that working in ‘R…Rajkumar’ has become my favorite role.
“Prabhu sir has made me do action, drama, dance and everything.

I have literally turned ‘Dabangg’.

“I have gone to the extent of slapping the hero too. The romance in this film is a fresh feel. The girl and the boy are very much alike.”
Shedding light on how she has fallen in sync with her director, she says, “If I look back working with Prabu, I have learnt to understand him very well.

“So many times when Prabhu just sits near the monitor and is enacting the changes as though I am on the sets ready for the take. I instantly understand what he wants. Before he can update the changes, I ask him if he wants me to perform in this particular manner.”

Sharing her experience of working with costar, Shahid Kapoor, she says, “It is not for the first time I am performing with an actor of my age.

“I have worked with Ranveer Singh and Imran Khan. And here working with Shahid, it was a great feel. He is a talented actor; he has the entertainment value within him, is dedicated and also performs exuberantly well. Having a talented costar, the work becomes easier.”
