With the industry already abuzz about ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, it just caught some more heat with the latest controversy regarding some dialogues offending a famous Indian brand – ‘Roohafza’.

The makers of the movie that up till now was only concerned about reaching the 200 crore mark post achieving the 100 crore medal didn’t see this coming.

Apparently a restraining order was passed by the Delhi High Court on the filmmakers of the movie from releasing it on TV channels due to its objectionable dialogues against the squash ‘Roohafza’ whose manufacturing company filed the law suit in the first place.

However, the court has said that the order is not applicable to the theatre version of the movie, which has already released in cinema halls.

A notice has been issued to the director, producer and dialogue writer of the film starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor while Manmohan Singh will go for the court hearing on July 16, 2013.

The brand claims that the dialogues in the movie were offending the product and its brand image and would definitely damage the goodwill and reputation of the brand.

So all the time Ranbir said, “Yeh Roohafza accha nahi hai” (This Roohafza is not good) in the film, little did he know that this would not be so ‘accha’ (good) for the film!
