Despite Katrina, Ranbir’s world tour kaput

Actor Ranbir Kapoor's long awaited world tour might actually not materialise.

The actor after showing lot of enthusiasm towards the show is now having second thoughts about the whole tour. Not really confident how he is going to pull it off when there is a deluge of movie offers coming his way after the award winning performance in 'Rockstar'. Ranbir now wants to give more time and energy towards his movie than to embark on this world tour.

And his commitments towards movies are not the only reason that's leading him to reconsider.

The plot for his tour went through lot of changes; initially, Ranbir, Deepika, Sonam and Shahid were to be on it. Later, Deepika and Sonam were replaced by Priyanka and Katrina. Even Katrina's name was not sure after their alleged break up after a small stint of romance but now it is reported that Katrina has given her nod to the show.

A couple of days ago, Shahid excused himself reportedly because he was miffed with the fact that the tour was being promoted as 'Ranbir's World Tour' and he wasn't getting enough publicity.

Originally slated to be held in July 2011 immediately after his movie 'Rajneeti' the world tour was pushed to August-September 2012 after 'Rockstar'.

The dates were pushed as Ranbir felt that there were not too many foot thumping numbers from his movies to encapsulate audiences.

The organisers of the tour, was rather evasive about the news. Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor, who is also the tour's producer, refused to comment on the subject. Even Ranbir choose not to divulge any details.
