Despite the smiling photocalls of Queen Elizabeth II with her grand daughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton, things are not yet picture perfect.

Kate has yet not 'conquered the House of Windsor', says Daily Mail.

According to new protocols, passed by the Queen, the future Queen, Kate, has been demoted in the royal rankings. She will not have to curtsey to princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. The document has been circulated in Britain's royal household to clear Kate's status within the royal hierarchy, the daily reports.

Since Kate is a former commoner, she must reverence to the ‘blood princesses’ when she is not accompanied by Prince William by her side. She has to bow down both in private and in public.

In any case, she must always curtsey to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, whether her husband is by her side or not.

According to the daily, Kate might not mind her new status as she is eager to please eevryone. However, Prince William might not be too pleased that his better half has to bend before his lesser royal cousins.
