Emraan Hashmi's four-year-old son's tumour operated successfully

After being diagnosed with cancer Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's four-year-old son Ayaan's tumour has been successfully operated.

Initial reports suggested that Ayaan was diagnosed with first-stage cancer in his kidney that was found malignant.

But as per latest information Ayaan has not only been operated upon successfully, but his tumour may not have been malignant.

It may just be benign. The tumour has been sent for testing and the pathology report should come in a week's time.

As soon as the actor found out he immediately booked an appointment with the doctors and the operation was carried out in Mumbai.

A relieved father, Emraan said, "The tumour is out. Ayaan's a fighter. The doctors have done a fantastic job, I can't thank them enough. Please pray for Ayaan."
 
Filmmaker Farah Khan posted on her Twitter page, "So happy 2 hear that emraan hashmi's son Ayan is recovering well..made my kids pray 4 the lil 1 last nite.."
