TOKYO, Sept 30, 2011 - Japanese fans took the chance to pose with waxwork models of Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson as a three-month "Madame Tussauds Tokyo" exhibition opened to the public on Friday.

About 70 fans arrived early to strike poses with their idols.

A total of 18 British-made life-size figures were on display on Friday, including Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Michael Jackson and Japanese manga cartoon hero Astro Boy. One more figure is expected to arrive mid-October.
