The UAE will host the Miss India World Wide 2011 on May 14 with reigning Ms India beauty queens representing 32 countries competing for the coveted crown.
Participants will strut in their best gowns at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi for the five-day event, which will feature a talent night, a kaleidoscopic platform where each contestant gets to showcase her personality, talent and the adopted country, reported 'Gulf Today'.
Sushmita Sen, the first Indian to win the title of Ms Universe will be a part of the glitzy event.
The GCC contestants representing UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman will receive a month long training in grooming, diction, personality development and elocution from experts arranged by Emirates Vision in the UAE.
The winner will receive about Dh100,000 as prize and yearly contract money in addition to various sponsor prices.
One lucky participant of the Miss India World Wide 2011 pageant will be selected for a Bollywood launch.
Celebrity Indian designer Archana Kochhar is official designer for the event.
