The overtly exposed reality star Kim Kardashian has been strangely keeping low after the birth of her first baby daughter North West.

No tweets, no pictures, no messages - almost like the calm before a storm. Wonder if she has been given a handsome cheque to keep the baby picture underwraps until some magazine decides to put it on their cover photo.

A regular Twitterer Kim has been absolutely silent beside one Tweet wishing sister Khloe a happy 29th birthday.

Kim then tweeted a collage of photos showing her with her Kardsahian siblings with the caption: 'Now- @khloekardashian. The most loyal & supportive person on the planet! Life wouldn’t be the same without you Kokes!'

And now, the 32-year-old has shown up on Khloe's Facebook page looking exhausted and enjoying a nap with Khloe and Lamar Odom's boxer pup, Bernard.

However, the reality TV star's mother Kris Jenner has revealed that North West is starting to get used to her surroundings after being born five weeks early in Los Angeles on June 15 but is progressing well.

The 57-year-old 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star told People.com on Friday (28.06.13) that she is enjoying bonding with her new grandchild and added: "She's just great, but she's only a little over a week old, so she's getting adjusted.

"She's great! She's beautiful, and amazing, happy and healthy."

Kris said that North will definitely have a nickname but isn't sure what it will be yet.

She explained: "It's a little early for me to predict, because we're just getting used to her. We're just getting used to each other, so we'll see what happens."

Kim and Kanye have reportedly rented a home in Bel Air for six months in favour of moving in with Kris in Calabasas, California, so they can spend more time alone together with their baby while their new $9 million mansion is being renovated.
