Film fraternity rallies behind 'Udta Punjab'

Indian filmmakers Wednesday took a bitter censorship row to court, the latest dispute involving the notoriously sensitive censor board that has renewed fears over creative freedoms.

A lawyer told Mumbai's highest court the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had demanded 13 cuts to "Udta Punjab", a Bollywood movie depicting drug addiction in Punjab state.
