Action star Jackie Chan in Dubai for 'Kung Fu Yoga'

Hollywood star Jackie Chan’s heading to Dubai to start filming for ‘Kung Fu Yoga’. This will be the first time that Jackie will film in the UAE.
 
According to sources, the filming schedule will run over 33 days, starting September 28.
 
It’s reported that Dubai’s iconic landmarks will be used to film a series of car chases.
 
Directed by stunt master Stanley Tong, the movie is backed by Indo-China production.
 
In a statement to the media, Jamal Al Sharif, Chairman of Dubai Film and TV Commission and Managing Director of Dubai Studio City, said they are very excited to welcome Chan.

“The UAE is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Hollywood and Bollywood productions, and the filming of Kung Fu Yoga in Dubai is another major boost for our film industry.”
 
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was earlier rumoured to play the lead alongside Chan, but it was denied by her publicists.
 
In fact, even Aamir Khan was offered a role, which he turned down due to clashing dates with his new film ‘Dangal’.
