Anything for Salman Khan: Katrina

As a goodwill gesture towards Salman Khan's family, Katrina Kaif shot a song for free in Atul Agnihotri's film, Bodyguard.

The song which goes, Aayare aaya bodyguard..., is touted as Katrina's first item number, post the very successful Sheila Ki Jawani, reports Mid-Day.

The actress has admitted in the past that the Khan family was generous to her when she was new in the hindi film industry and now that time has come to return the favour, she graciously agreed to do the item number.

For the uninitiated, Atul Agnihotri is married to one of Salman Khan's sister Alvira. Producer Atul Agnihotri was quoted by the daily as saying: "It is very gracious of her to have done this. She has always been very supportive of our work and is ready to contribute in whatever way possible."

In fact, this is not the first time Katrina has been generous with the extended Khan family. Confirms Agnihotri: "We have all known her for years now and she is part of our family. Even in my earlier film Hello, she had to do a guest appearance and she did it free of cost."

Clearly, both Salman Khan and Katrina will continue to be 'good friends' despite moving on from their affair.
