Bill Simmons premiered his new HBO talk show on Wednesday that featured a very candid Ben Affleck, who went all Dark Knight, at least verbally, on the 'Any Given Wednesday' host when he brought up Tom Brady's NFL suspension.

"Deflategate is the ultimate bull--t f--ing outrage of sports," Affleck seethed.

Brady, who plays for the actor-director's hometown New England Patriots, was suspended earlier this year by the NFL for 4 games this upcoming season for his role in deflating footballs before a 2015 playoff game.

"They haven't done anything to address this crisis of domestic violence in the NFL, but the f--ing football better not be eight percent lighter," Affleck said to Simmons, a fellow Boston native.

"If the NFL really knew how to test for steroids, there'd be no f--ing NFL."

Social media commenters thought something was off about Affleck, who appeared flustered and occasionally slurred his words during the interview.

He added: "This is a conspiracy of people working inside the NFL who all come from organizations that Tom Brady whipped their ass over the last ten or fifteen years...these are guys who work for the f--ing Jets, Broncos...who are now going, 'Get him! Hang him!' because they now have some slight, flimsy f--ing pretense."

The 'Batman v Superman' star, one of two guests on the first episode of "Any Given Wednesday," along with NBA analyst Charles Barkley, who also used the f-word during the show's outtakes, appeared calm and self-deprecating when discussing his acting and directing career before the deflategate rant (he also hinted at being offered a "Star Wars" directing gig at one point, though Affleck declined to elaborate on the specifics).

Affleck, 43, is currently filming 'Justice League,' DC's superhero equivalent of 'The Avengers.' The Zack Snyder-directed film is due in November, 2017.
