BIGG BOSS: This politics too much, even for Salman Khan

Bigg Boss contestant and activist cartoonist Aseem Trivedi has been evicted from the reality show as predicted by Emirates 24|7.

We had reported how the controversial activist was on the brink of eviction from the reality show following an outrage from a political party in India.

His stay on "Bigg Boss 6" has not been as controversial inside the house as it has been outside, he was rather lying low. According to the party Aseem and his radical views will get more prominence in the reality TV show which airs on Colors daily.

Before the show, Aseem was arrested on grounds of sedition with non-bailable warrant due to his revolutionary depiction of Indian politics and politicians through his cartoons.

Trivedi's journey on the show came to an end on Friday night, following the recent agitation outside the office of the Colours channel.

His entry on the show raised many eyebrows. He had even stated that his motive was to use the platform to spread a word about his message against corruption.

Even before he stepped into the "Bigg Boss 6" house with 14 others, he was sure he would not provide any entertainment on the show. And he kept to his words.

He maintained a quiet demeanour. But his eviction clearly shows how the channel is cowered under pressure.

Aseem's nomination was also dramatic. Although the contestants did not vote for him, his nomination comes as a surprise camouflaged with punishment for a mistake he did not commit.

Two other members in the house model Karishma Kotak and stylist Sapna Bhavnani violated the rules by removing their cordless mic. And as a punishment Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Aseem were forced to face the brunt.

Mastermind Bigg Boss has very cleverly played his cards. Chances of Aseem being the chosen one to leave the house was more evident when Bigg Boss threw another surprise, taking a call to evict two contestants.

The four nominated candidates were Gulab Gang leader Sampat Lal, model Karishma Kotak, hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani and Trivedi.

Karishma left the show after her father passed away earlier this week, and Trivedi is said to have received the lowest votes from the audience.

However, it would be no surprise if his ouster is a result of pressure on Colors officials.

These surprises and news rules could be is a direct influence of the complaint filed by the political party.
