Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, considered an underdog, has always delivered at the Box Office. Maybe underrated as well, but that doesn't matter as long as his movies rake up the moolah.

Devgn's last two movies 'Singham' and 'Bol Bachchan' were super hits and made it to all major award nominations.

This time, as the actor-turned-producer gear up with his upcoming film 'Son of Sardar' Devgn faces the so-called king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.

Ajay Devgn's movie 'Son of Sardar' will open in theatres along with Shah Rukh's movie 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

Both the films are scheduled for release on November 13.

In a press conference Ajay spoke to reporters and said that he is confident about the fate of his movie from the very beginning. As an entertaining film the movie has the pace and plots to hold the audience's attention.

'Son of Sardar' is directed by Ashwini Dhir, staring Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla.

Its competition 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' will see filmmaker Yash Chopra's return after a gap of eight years with Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead.

Yash Chopra's movie, which is incidentally his last as a director, has generated lot of buzz. His production company, Yash Raj Films, is leaving no stone unturned to make his last movie a mega hit.

Big stars in Bollywood avoid clash at the Box Office. They prefer unchallenged release, so dates are negotiated.

Producers and big stars on whose shoulder the movie lays strike deals and get the most profitable dates.

Ajay Devgn preferred not to back down but face the challenge of a Shah Rukh Khan movie on the same day as his movie opens to audience.

Only time will tell if Ajay has done the right thing competing SRK at the box office.
