No more 'Tiger' for Salman Khan

Ek Tha Tiger (ETT) director Kabir Khan has no plans to start his next project.

Despite having the grandest opening of his latest offering ETT starring Salman Khan, Kabir denies having a sequel in the pipeline.

Says Kabir, “People think about a sequel because we left a scoop at the end of the film. But honestly, we have not thought about one. It’s just two months that the film has been released. For now we, including Salman, are not planning a sequel. Everybody is so thrilled with 'Ek Tha Tiger’s' collection. It is the most profitable film for Yash Raj.”

It seems like Kabir is still riding on ETT’s roaring success and is in the mood to holiday and relax, as this action thriller was one tiring affair for the director.

“We put in a lot of hard work. It was physically a very demanding film for Sallu and me because there was a lot of action being shot in different parts of the world. I am soon leaving for Africa so by next month I should be clear on what I should do next,” says Kabir.

Even when ETT has shattered all the records at the box office, that does not prompt this director to start his next project immediately. Kabir prefers to take his time to lock his next script. He says, “As I mentioned before, I haven’t finalised what my next one is. Once I get back from Kilimanjaro will I finalise who the actor will be and which script to work on and the producer as well,” as he bids adieu to us to go on his most deserved vacation.
