It’s sad news for the comedy and parody lovers of Pakistan and India.

An actor who doesn’t have large number of fans such as Bollywood's Aamir Khan and Salman Khan but he parodied them in such a brilliant way that some rated him even better than the Khans.

Pakistan’s stage comedian and parody filmmaker Muhammad Sikandar – who shot to fame when he acted in two famed parody movies of Salman Khan’s 'Dabangg 2' and Amir Khan’s 'Ghajini 2' – passed away a day ago due to liver cancer.

Muhammad Sikandar’s – popularly known as Sikandar Sanam – was considered a pioneer in parody movies and his 'Dabangg' and 'Ghajini' act were appreciated and loved both in Pakistan and India.

As a matter of fact, Salman Khan is said to have watched Sanam’s parody and really liked and appreciated the movie and Sanam’s acting abilities.

Millions of copies of these two parodies were sold in Pakistan and India and aired on different channels.

Sanam, 45, was not just a popular face on Pakistani channels but worked prolifically in a large number of Indian comedy programmes on different channels.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters and four sons.
