Remember Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone's "RK" tattoo - the symbol of her love and Rabir Kapoor's betrayal?

It's not there anymore - at least in her latest cola advertisement.

Deepika Padukone’s new soft drink commercial cleverly makes insinuations at her famous "RK" tattoo at the nape of her neck.

While Deepika is asking about why people are looking at her neck, the tattoo seems to have mysteriously disappeared, thanks to either photoshopping or overload of some camouflaging cream.

Interestingly, the ad is directed by Anurag Kashyap who claims that he did not see any tattoo, but only the camera while shooting.

Incidentally, Deepika's ex Ranbir Kapoor features in Kashyap’s upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet'.

When love was at its peak, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone tattooed Ranbir Kapoor’s name (RK) on the nape of her neck and even after separation, the long legged actress did not erase it.

When in love she inked it to declare her commitment. Media loved her attitude and she displayed it with grace. Her heart break and Ranbir's infidelity received equal space in black and white.

But Deepika continues to wear the tattoo proudly, more so in defiance.

Love might have vanished from Deepika and Ranbir's life due to Katrina Kaif’s entry but they are still maintaining a great professional relationship.

Last year (2013) the duo delivered a blockbuster ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and set an example that ex-lovers can be a good on-screen pair.

Five years since heart-break, she still has the tattoo - despite some reports that she was going to have it removed - the cameras got a good look at it, up close and personal, at the recently held IIFA Awards.

We say what's the big deal; she needn't remove it for anyone but herself.
