Hero at home: Kareena Kapoor refuses to work with Saif Ali Khan

Indian Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is one of the very few actresses in Hindi film to have worked with all the famous Khans (Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir and Saif) in the industry.

Her movies with all Khans have been more-or-less successful, except one - her boyfriend now husband Saif Ali Khan.

Now it seem Kareena Kapoor Khan is not at all keen to work with her husband Saif.

Fact of the matter being that the actress has not been able to give any hit with her former beau and now husband.

The first film that the two were together was in JP Dutta’s 'LOC' which was a flop.

Then came 'Tashan' and that film also tanked.

Then there was Rensil D Silva’s film 'Kurbaan' which was a full-fledged story between the two and this film too was a huge flop despite Karan Johar being the producer.

When Saif Ali Khan turned producer and the two were dating they tried working together in 'Agent Vinod' amidst stories about their impeding marriage and that film also tanked.

And that is perhaps the only reason why Kareena now refused a film opposite Saif Ali Khan for filmmaker Nikhil Advani.

Kareena had earlier refused Nikhil in 'Kal Ho Na Ho' as well for money, but now it is because of the hero.

Saif may be the hero at home, but not in her films.

Kareena may not really have work on hand apart from the Ajay Devgn film 'Singham Returns', but she is not keen on any film.

Her last hit was in 2011 when she did 'Ra.One'.

Kareena is now keen on letting other actresses work with her husband.

While Ileana D Cruz has worked with Saif in 'Happy Ending', Parineeti Chopra confirms that she has got the offer and has accepted to work in Dinesh Vijan’s film with Saif.

But then that was not before she got a green signal from Kareena Kapoor who once shared cold vibes with Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka.

“I met them (Kareena and Saif) once at a party and I told her that I was a huge fan of Saif. Then I asked her the permission to be his fan and also work in movies with him. She was very nice and kind and agreed for it and here I am,” says Parineeti.

“Dino (Dinesh Vijan) is directing the film. It will be his debut and yes, I would like to officially announce that I have signed a film with Saif. I cannot tell you how emotional I was when I signed up,” says the actress.

Kareena, in the meantime, watched on as Saif romanced Esha Gupta and Tamannah in Humshakals and Sonakshi Sinha in 'Bullet Raja'. 

Now let's wait and watch if her reason of not doing films with Saif, backfires or not.
