Solange Knowles slams Instagram critic

American singer Solange Knowles has hit back at an Instagram user who called her 11-year-old son Julez "ugly".

The 29-year-old singer posted a snap of her son Julez - who she has with ex-husband Daniel Smith - dressed in an LL Cool J-inspired outfit for Halloween and captioned it: "Young cool J too cool for ghost and goblins (sic)"

Beside the picture, one user on the photo-sharing website wrote: "So cute but at the same time he ugly (sic)."

However, Solange has since delivered a considered response.

She said: "Just as I thought it was safe to share pictures again, a young'n like you decides to use her time to spread ugliness.

"I don't fault you, I can only imagine why you would feel the need to say such things, but thanks again for being a reminder that out of all the love and wonderful energy shared, that when I open up a space for an innocent beautiful being like my boy to be criticized and judged, that I WILL most likely respond, and that he receives enough love and celebration at home that it's just not worth it to go down this road. (sic)"

The American singer also admitted her response would have been more explosive if she was in the "wrong mood".

She wrote: "I hope that this really resonates with you and you make better decisions in the future towards how you use your words towards innocent children. And @ro.rxd get ya friend because this could have truly gone south if I was in the wrong mood (sic)."

Rihanna has reportedly pulled out of performing at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to focus on completing her new LP 'Anti'.

The 27-year-old singer - real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty - is believed to have pulled out of the lingerie company's annual catwalk extravaganza to focus on completing her eighth studio album 'Anti'.

According to PEOPLE, Rihanna will longer join the Angels on stage and instead Ellie Goulding has stepped in to fill her shoes.

The 'On My Mind' hitmaker - who is dating McFly star Dougie Poynter - shouldn't be fazed performing at the globally televised event as she has experience of playing intimidating gigs, and was even the wedding singer for Prince William and Duchess Catherine in April 2012. She sang a cover of Sir Elton John's 'Your Song' for the royals' first dance.

Ellie joins Selena Gomez and The Weeknd at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

As for Rihanna's delayed LP, her father Ronald Fenty recently revealed the star is "worried" she hasn't brought out an album for three years, since 2012's 'Unapologetic'.

Ronald - claims to have heard 26 song she has recorded for the album - previously said: "Robyn is not happy with the new album. She's not comfortable with it. When she went over the songs she found all these little things she wanted to change and was worried about it. It's a long process and isn't easy.

"It's been three years now since her last album and she wants this to blow everything else away, no competition, because she's calling it her 'first album.' "

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Kendall Jenner will be walking at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show alongside Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge.

Justin Bieber is 'never going to stop loving' Selena Gomez

(Bang)

Justin Bieber still loves ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez "dearly" and admits they are in regular contact because their relationship wasn't "super toxic."

The 21-year-old singer, who split from the brunette beauty in October 2014 after almost four years of dating, doesn't know if he's "over it yet" and says he's "never going to stop loving her."

The 'Sorry' hitmaker said: "It was really tough. I don't know if I'm over it yet. I think that I'm definitely in another place and I think we've definitely went our separate ways. I love her and I want her to be awesome, but there are things that remind me of her."

The Canadian heartthrob is still in regular contact with the 'Good For You' hitmaker, 23, and admits "a lot of" the songs on his upcoming album, 'Purpose,' are about her.

He told 'Access Hollywood': "[She] is someone I love dearly. I'm never going to stop loving her. I'm never going to stop checking in on her. I don't think if you end a relationship, you should end that, unless it was super toxic and you guys were hurting each other physically or mentally. We always respected each other and we still respect each other."

Justin also believes their split was the result of bad timing.

He said: "Yeah, I wrote a song [that] didn't make the album, it was called 'If I Would Have Met You In 5 Years.' How true is that? How many people go through life and end up meeting someone and it feels so right, but it's just the wrong time? So many people can relate to that."

Asked if he thinks they might eventually rekindle their relationship, he added: "I don't know what happens. I don't know what is going to happen in the future. I think we both gotta do some soul searching ourselves and figure out ourselves before we can just try to figure out each other."
