Is Deepika Padukone turning down Salman Khan for Ranbir?

Deepika Padukone began her Bollywood journey with the King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om'.

Right now, Deepika is the Queen Bee of Bollywood with a Rs100 crore hat-trick and scooping up trophies at award shows this year.

After delivering four back-to-back blockbusters her kitty is full for the next year and producers are making a beeline for the dimpled lady.

But the 'Alpha hero' Salman Khan remains on her wish-list of co-stars.

If there is one actor Deepika wants to work with, he is the 'Dabbangg' Khan.

The actress has often expressed her keen interest to work with Salman and after considering many female leads filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya zeroed in on Deepika.

Salman Khan is reuniting with his 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' and 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' director Sooraj Barjatya for 2015's 'Bade Bhaiya'.

But the busy 'Chennai Express' actress is in a dilemma over dates, reports MidDay.

Deepika has no time for Salman. She signed up 'Rockstar' director Imtiaz Ali's next film opposite ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor with whom she delivered the hit 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' last year.

Now her dates for 'Bade Bhaiya' are clashing with the ones she has already allotted to Imtiaz.

After having worked with Imtiaz Ali in 'Love Aaj Kal', Deepika is very excited to collaborate with the director again.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika may have parted ways in real life but in reel life they are considered as one of the most beautiful couples after their stupendous show last year.

While on a crossroad between Imtiaz and Barjatya's film; Deepika might also consider the fact that her pairing with Salman is untested.

Barjatya is very keen to have Deepika on board and so is Salman, but the former wants Deepika to assign 120 days for the shoot from June onwards and it doesn't look like she will be able to pull it off as she will be shooting for Imtiaz's film from July to December.

Salman fans might have to wait longer to see him romancing Deepika Padukone.
