Janet Jackson has postponed her European tour indefinitely due to 'scheduling difficulties'.

Just three weeks before she was due to kick off four dates in the UK, along with shows in Ireland, Germany and France, Janet has cancelled all European gigs on her 'Unbreakable' world tour and the concerts have not been rescheduled.

An email to fans from Ticketmaster said: "The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that, due to scheduling difficulties, they've had to postpone the 'Unbreakable' tour.

"It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders."

But the music icon's management confirmed her performance of the Unbreakable concert at the Dubai World Cup on Saturday March 26 at Meydan Racecourse.

"The Janet Jackson Unbreakable Concert at the Dubai World Cup is going ahead as planned. Janet looks forward to participating in this wonderful event and to seeing everyone at Meydan on the 26th March."

Janet previously postponed 29 US dates on the tour after being advised to have surgery and rescheduled them for July and August.

In announcing the postponement of the US tour, Janet - who is married to Wissam Al Mana - appealed to her fans for prayers.

She said on her website: "Hey you guys...Happy Holidays to each and every one of you! I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon.

"It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the 'Unbreakable Tour' until the spring.

"Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time...There will be no further comment."
