Justin Bieber is to be arraigned on Valentine's Day (14.02.14) after he was arrested last week for driving under the influence (DUI), driving with an expired license and resisting arrest in Miami.

The 19-year-old singer has been called to appear in front of the judge next month after he was arrested last week.

A source told the MailOnline: "Justin will be arraigned on February 14 at 9 am. He will have to meet with judge William Altfield. There is already a courtroom assigned to his case."

The troubled star already has lawyer Roy Black working on his behalf and he is expected to be present during the arraignment as well.

Despite being issued a court date, the 'Beauty and A Beat' hitmaker didn't let his legal woes bother him as he took his new rumoured girlfriend Chantel Jeffries to Panama over the weekend for some downtime in the sun.

Meanwhile, as well as facing legal problems in Miami, Justin could also potentially face felony charges after an incident where one of his neighbours' homes was egged, causing $20,000 of damage. Officers for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department said they will soon be submitting evidence to the District Attorney, who will then decide whether to press charges.

Moter standing by him

Justin Bieber's mother is trying to be as supportive as possible.

Pattie Mallette is coping the best she can since the 19-year-old was arrested.

A source close to the 37-year-old 'Nowhere But Up' author told E! News: "Pattie is being a mom, putting her son's best interests first, whatever that means at any time. There are things being said all over, but she is with him when he needs her and will always be there for him. She would never do anything to bring harm to him."

Justin, who was allegedly avoiding his mother last week, is trying not to let his recent troubles get him down and reportedly flew back from Panama.

An insider said: "Justin is doing OK right now. He's with friends and family. That's what is most important now, being surrounded by family and his closest friends."

Scooter and Justin's mentor Usher flew to Panama to have a serious talk with the young star on Saturday (25.01.14) about his future.
