Justin Bieber has reportedly vowed to make Selena Gomez feel more secure in 2013 and has written a number of love songs about her for his new album

The 'As Long As You Love Me' singer - whose on-again/off-again relationship with the 20-year-old 'Love You Like A Love Song' hitmaker has reportedly been on the rocks again recently - has written a number of new love songs about her for his new album in a desperate bid to completely win back her heart again.

A source close to Selena told HollywoodLife.com: "Justin told Selena that he wrote her a bunch of new songs and they are going on the album.

"He is desperate for her attention, but she is flattered. Sel loves him but just wants him to treat her better. But she loves when he sings about her, so she's flattered."

The 18-year-old Canadian singer tweeted a mysterious message yesterday, saying: "Won't let u down (sic)", which is believed to have been directed at his girlfriend.

Justin has hurt Selena numerous times over the past six months by hanging out with Victoria's Secret models in New York and most recently by becoming good friends with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

But the couple have been trying to move forward with their relationship recently. The couple enjoyed a romantic ski trip at the Canyon Resort in Salt Lake City, Utah before Christmas with her close friend Taylor Swift and One Direction's Harry Styles.

Witnesses at the airport said Selena and Justin couldn't keep their hands off each other.

A source previously said: "They were very affectionate with each other. They were kissing on and off and they just sat together and talked and looked totally in love."

The pair flew home separately as they are set to spend Christmas Day (25.12.12) with their respective families.
