Kangana Ranaut may have very well been on the backfoot after simultaneous thrashings of her films Rangoon and Simran at the box office followed by a Hrithik Roshan interview to select media ‘exposing’ her, but now the actress is back despite rumours of a Bollywood boycott.
While there were speculations that her Rani Laxmibai biopic called Manikarnika direted b y South director Krish may be stalled or the budgets may be slashed, the film is on its course and will be complete within two more months. “Yes, we will be completing shooting of Manikarnika by February and we will be releasing the film in 2018,” confirms the actress. The release date of Manikarnika has not yet been announced or planned and will be done once the film is ready and done.
But that is not all, the actress has signed two more films. While we are told that one of them is a thriller and the other is a film by the internationally acclaimed Shekhar Kapur, Kangana does not divulge details, but admits to signing them. “I have signed two more films and will talk about them at the opportune time,” is all she reveals.
It does seem that Kangy is back with a vengeance!
