Kareena's 'Heroine' not on Manisha Koirala

There were reports earlier that Kareena Kapoor's movie 'Heroine' is based on actress Manisha Koirala's life.

Reportedly the movie is inspired by the ups and downs in Manisha's personal and professional life.

But filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar came out and rubbished all such reports.

"#Heroine's not inspired by Manish Koirala's life. It's a figment of imagination. People should check facts before creating such stories," Bhandarkar wrote on his Twitter page.

'Heroine' is one of Bhandarkar's most ambitious project, which has been jinxed with hurdles. The director was left in a fix after Aishwarya Rai backed out of the film due to her pregnancy, after which Kareena was roped in for the lead role.

Later the films dialogues went missing after dialogue writer Niranjan Iyengar's laptop was stolen from his car.

Hopefully he can complete the movie on time and we can see another brilliant movie from his stable.
