Katie Holmes threw husband Tom Cruise a surprise 49th birthday party on Saturday.
The 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' actress arranged the secret bash at the Soho House in Miami, where the 'Mission Impossible' star is filming the big screen adaptation of musical 'Rock of Ages', for around 40 guests.
Tom's children Isabella and Connor, the kids he adopted with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, were in attendance along with his five-year-old daughter Suri with Katie.
However, the actor's friends Adam Shankman, Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony could not make the occasion.
According to the New York Post newspaper, guests at the party dined on chocolate cake and Italian food before dancing to Cuban music.
Katie, 32, and Suri have been making regular trips from Los Angeles to the Miami set to visit Tom, who turned 49 on Sunday.
The actor - who married Katie in 2006 - treated the 'Kennedys' star to a sewing machine on her birthday in December, and the actress recently revealed she likes to use the machine to makes things with Suri.
She said: "My mom grew up making curtains and pillows and everything, and it made our home very warm, so I like to do things like that with my daughter. My husband got me a sewing machine for my birthday."
