Kim may be sued for 'faked' Dubai scenes

Drama, mystery and crimes of passion make for a great Hollywood potboiler. But these days, poor Kim Kardashian’s life is one big production waiting to unfold in the spotlight.

The latest plot unravelling in her messy divorce with NBA star Kris Humphries is the threat of an investigation into scenes filmed in Dubai for their reality show “Kourtney and Kim Take New York”, which insiders are alleging were faked to put Kardashian in favourable light for her fans.

Humphries’ lawyer wants to go a step ahead and haul Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner and the TV executives over at E! in for questioning, according to Radaronline.com.

For those following the saga that unfolded post Kardashian’s separation from her husband of 72 days would recall that things seemed fishy from October last year, when the reality TV star zipped into Dubai, accompanied by Jenner for the opening of Millions of Milkshakes.

At the time, the socialite gushed about her husband at the press conference, talking about starting a family soon.

But tune into the show, which was aired last month, and a scene filmed in Dubai depicting a private conversation between mother and daughter in a blacked-out car saw Kardashian confiding that she wasn’t too keen to return home and be with her husband.

Of course, the follow up controversy embroiling that particular scene has alleged that the scene was actually filmed nearly a month after Kardashian filed for divorce, with photographic evidence showing mother and daughter outside a studio in Los Angeles on December 6, carrying and wearing the same outfits and jewellery, with the same makeup and hair.

Radar Online adds that NBA star has cited fraud in his official response to the divorce petition, and wants his lawyer to question his soon to be ex-wife, and Jenner about the pictures taken on December 6.

“Kris feels that if this is true and the whole conversation was faked, this would help prove that he got married under fraudulent circumstances.

“Yes, this did occur after the marriage, but this is one clear example that could help sway the judge to grant the divorce on the grounds of fraud,” the website stated, quoting an insider.

Before the Dubai episode aired, the estranged husband had taken to micro blogging site Twitter to say: “I can’t wait for the truth to come out! People will be surprised or maybe they won’t. #FCC.”

While Kardashian has found solace in church ever since the divorce proceedings have commenced, tweeting about her religious outings, mama bear Jenner is not one to take these allegations lying down.

Jenner took to TV this weekend and in an interview on “Showbiz Tonight”, she said: “We shot the entire episode in Dubai. Everyone is going to take a shot about something and, you know, challenge you at every turn.

“At some point you have to let it roll off your back.”

When quizzed further if there was possibility of the reality TV cameras being rolled into court to air the proceedings live, Jenner added: “I’ve never really heard of a divorce proceeding going to trial. I think those days are long gone.”
