The new-age replacement lingo for ‘look before you leap’ could very well be ‘think before you tweet’, especially when the person tweeting is none other than reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

The mom-to-be faced America’s wrath yesterday when she used the micro blogging platform to plug in her family less than an hour after Boston witnessed a terrorist attack that saw two explosions detonate at a marathon, claiming three lives and injuring hundreds more.

Plugging in her mother’s show, Karadshian tweeted: “Check out Kris Jenner on QVC’s PM Style Show at 7pm tonight.”

It couldn’t even be said that she may have been unaware of the incidents unfold on America’s east coast, considering the 32-year-old reality TV star was one of the first few celebs who took to Twitter to condemn the attacks, saying: “My heart is breaking for everyone effected or injured in the explosion at the Boston Marathon. God bless you all. My prayers are with you.”

Many followers, however, were not pleased by her blatant plug at time of a tragedy.

“In case you haven’t noticed, America is in the midst of a tragedy right now,” said one upset user.

Another person said: “Pretty sure people will be watching the news. Idiot.”

The assaults kept coming until Kardashian was finally forced to delete the tweet.

This is the second time in weeks that Kanye West’s girlfriend had to face the wrath of hundreds around the world.

Last month, a fake Twitter account under her name, came out with this racist tweet that read: “Nigeria is such a disgusting country. I couldn’t wait to leave. Scott said their women look like apes and I agree.”

The onslaught by followers forced her rep to release an official statement later that read: “This wasn’t tweeted from her account. She never tweeted this.”

Kardashian herself came online to write: “I see there’s a photoshopped tweet floating around, supposedly something I said about Nigeria. That was not me, or my feelings.”
