The Punjabi festival of Lohri, along with the Hindu festival of Makar Sankranti is finally upon us, marking the winter solstice and the ushering in of spring season.

So grab your families and head to the Dubai Creek Park between 10am and 5pm to enjoy the kite flying festival.

Colourful kites will take to the skies, with plenty of competitions and fun for all.

Tickets are priced at Dh25 for individuals and Dh50 for the whole family. Kids below six years enter free.
