It’s going to be an action-packed weekend at the cinemas, with menacingly twisted fairy-tale and Bollywood masala flick battling it out for the top honours. While it will be tough to determine the winner in this tug-of-war, we are sure it won’t leave many disappointed.
Bollywood’s dedicated bunch will campaign for PrabuDheva’s outrageously flamboyant hero “Rowdy Rathore” as he packs a punch and romances his ladylove in gaudy colours. But let’s hope this one has a lot more to offer than Prabu’s Bollywood debut “Ready”.
Rupert Sander’s menacing twist to Snow White’s story has ended up losing its charm, at least some of it, considering it has arrived after Tarsem Singh’s take on the same fairy tale earlier this year in “Mirror Mirror”. So, it’s Charlize Theron up against Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen in the latest entrant.
Among the others, “Love Ranch”, with a stellar star cast with Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci, is a riveting drama that deserves a watch.
Snow White And The Huntman
