Nicole Scherzinger dumps boyfriend; Lewis Hamilton out of race?

If reports are to be believed former X Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger, has ended her relationship with F1 champ Lewis Hamilton as he had no plans to get married.

A few months ago they cut a 'happily ever after' picture when the racer lifted the championship trophy during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Despite splitting up a number of times in recent years, the pair seemed closer than ever at the end of 2014.

There were rumours of the two getting engaged, but it now it seems that Nicole and Hamilton have actually called time on their relationship.

The on/off couple has apparently decided to go their separate ways after seven years together.

The Sun reports, "It really is over this time."

Lewis was aware of the pressure that was on him to pop the question, admitting that his family members were keen for him to tie the knot.

At Rihanna's Diamond Ball, he told E! that he is feeling the pressure and heat from family members.

But he added that both he and Nicole are focused on their work and they are happy the way things are.

He added that marriage would at "one point... be for us."

It seems Nicole finally called time on the relationship after becoming convinced Lewis would never propose.

But now it seems the couple’s increasing time away from each other has torn them apart.

The fights and time apart didn't do anything for the couple.

The couple are understood to have tried but failed to agree on their future.
