Has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan kept a no intimacy clause for Fanney Khan? Well. It does seem so at the moment.
Aishwarya wanted the clause because despite her bolder avatar in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, it did not do any good to the film. “Ash had agreed to do some intimate scenes in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil because she felt that times are changing and she was convinced by Karan that the film needed bold scenes because the subject itself was very progressive. But now she feels that any film does not necessarily need intimate scenes and films can be made without them. Audiences are coming in to watch films because they want to see good content and not bold scenes,” says a trade source.
Aishwarya was seen doing bold scenes with a much younger actor Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and with another younger actor Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 where they kissed. In a country where women are judged after marriage and their child, Aishwarya has been on the receiving end for these scenes with stories being circulated about how her family has not been happy with her bold avatar.
Prerna Arora producer of Fanney Khan however denies that Ash has put any such demand. "She is the super star with whom I have had the easiest working relationship. Ash is only passionate about her work and the films she does," she says.
