English footballer Wayne Rooney's wife and model Coleen Rooney is eating her own placenta following the birth of her third son.
The stunning star and her husband welcomed their baby Kit into the world at the weekend and the tot is settling in well at home with his proud parents and brothers, six-year-old Kai and two-year-old Klay.

Revealing her peculiar jar of pills with a Twitter photo, Coleen wrote on the social networking site: "Looking forward to starting my capsules @placentaplus1 .... Thank you xx (sic)"

Coleen also revealed in further tweets a friend of hers recommended she eat the placenta, which is thought to provide an energy boost while nursing, increase breast milk production and even prevent post-natal depression due to the nutrients that are packed in the sack.
She wrote: "It was a friend who recommended it to me, never heard of it before."

Coleen, 29, is absolutely smitten with her newborn baby and can't get enough of little Kit since returning home with him.
Accompanied by baby and blue heart emojis, she tweeted: "In love ........again!! (sic)"
Wayne also shared a picture of himself gazing down at the tot on his Instagram page alongside the caption: "Meeting Kit for the first time. Home time now (sic)"

Both Wayne, 30, and Coleen, 29, broke the happy news of their new baby's arrival on Twitter.
They shared the same post on their accounts, which read: They each tweeted: "Our gorgeous little Boy arrived today!! Kit Joseph Rooney .... 8Ib 1oz. We are all over the moon!! (sic)".
Earlier, reality television star Kim Kardashian revealed in a new blog post on December 14, that she is eating her placenta after giving birth to her second child, Saint West, and she even shared a photo of her supplements on her website.
"So, I'm really not this holistic person or someone who would have ever considered eating my placenta," the mom of two, 35, wrote in her post titled "Eating My Placenta."
