Oprah Winfrey tweets Aishwarya Rai picture

Talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey has posted a picture on Twitter accompanied by Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan. The picture was taken in January when Oprah was on her maiden visit to India.

Oprah's first stop after landing in Mumbai was the Bachchan residence Jalsa to meet Abhishek and Aishwarya's daughter Aaradhya. The meeting was at the top of her priority list upon her arrival in Mumbai. She was at their residence for more than an hour.

The Bollywood actress and now full time mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who also happen to be a close friend of Oprah, played a perfect host and took her around the town.

The Bachchan family also accompanied Oprah to a party hosted for her.

Oprah's ever favourite Aishwarya Rai and her daughter must have had a lasting impression on the talk-show queen as she posts the picture on micro-blogging website Twitter after three months of her visit.

"India was a real #NextChapter dream for me. Leaving home of Abishek & Ashwirya having just seen their gorgeous baby," she tweeted.

Oprah was in India primarily to shoot for her new show 'Next Chapter'.

In her 'Next Chapter' Oprah travels around the world interviewing celebrities, newsmakers and others.

Ash, Beti B set to attend Cannes Film Festival next month

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will attend the Cannes Film Festival next month along with other Bollywood stars, reports from India said.

Attendance of the new mother was uncertain after the birth of Beti B as she is busy enjoying her motherhood. Beti B was recently in Dubai on her first foreign trip with mum Aishwarya during the Dubai World Cup. It's believed that the little Bachchan would also go to France on her second foreign trip with mum Aishwarya Rai. Bachchans have been very secretly guarding the name and photo of their little one ever since she was born.

Ash attended Cannes Festival Film last time a decade ago to promote her blockbuster movie Devdas. And this would be first appearance at an international event after the birth of Beti B in November last year.

Since she has no film to promote as she is busy with Beti B, the reports said that she would be attending the event as a brand ambassador of L'Oreal.
