Oscar parties: Stars go from sheer to shame on Red Carpet

At the Oscars red carpet most stars were beautifully dressed - epitomising glamour in its most sophisticated manner.

However, at the after-parties celebrities held back nothing, literally. Sheer, see-through gown with no underwear was the fashion statement of the night.

Rita Ora flashed her bottom (and much more) in her see-through black gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar bash.

The 24-year-old star appeared to go knickerless and giggled as she stepped onto the green carpet at the bash.

She pouted her bright red lips, blew kisses at the paparazzi and wore her blonde hair in her regular slicked back 'do.

Model Irina Shayk gave the singer a run for her money as the most daringly dressed in a gown that exposed half her body with only a few black panels to protect her modesty.

Standing on the green carpet, Irina blew kisses and posed with one leg in front of the other and worked her body for the cameras.

Irina put her bodacious body on display in an Atelier Versace gown and mesh bodysuit.

The look came from the label's Spring Summer 2015 collection, and like Ora, Shayk didn't wear underwear. Instead, she relied on paneling to keep her modesty covered.

Mother-of-four Heidi Klum, 41, didn’t want to be left behind and also went for a daring outfit.

She wore a sparkling Versace gown that exposed her ribs and side chest as well as her hips and legs, forcing her to forgo wearing anything underneath  for the evening.

Model and TV personality Gigi Hadid was another who wore a revealing black dress with no knickers

She opted for a slinky cut-away style floor-length gown, complete with thigh-high split.

31-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr showed off her assets in a revealing custom Emilio Pucci gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Jimmy Choo shoes and Judith Lieber clutch

Undergarments were definitely not an outfit staple for the post Oscars party.
