Rihanna turns bad for 'Fast and Furious 6'

Singer Rihanna has reportedly bagged a villainous role in the sixth installment of The Fast and Furious franchise.

"Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship. Writers think she'll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn't take any prisoners - just like her in real life. It's a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles," thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

The singer will drive supercars with the likes of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, as the series continues its world tour of exotic locations.

The movie is set in London, with filming expected to start as early as next month. The singer will also be heading to Essex for the first time as racing scenes will be shot in Southend.

Ashton Kutcher signs new Two and a Half Men deal

Ashton Kutcher is set to return for a new series of 'Two and a Half Men'.

The 34-year-old actor has reportedly signed a new one-year deal which will see him reprise his role as lonely millionaire Walden Schmidt, with co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T.

Ashton will remain on $700,000 per episode but he and his co-stars have been promised a signing on bonus, according to Deadline.

It is unclear is the new season - the show's 10th - will be its last.

Earlier this year Ashton revealed he would be happy to return for a new series.

He said: "I'm having a lot of fun doing the show, working with these guys and would be interested in coming back.

"The deal that we structured for the show is kind of a test deal, 'Can we get the show up? Can we get it going?'

"The show is outperforming the numbers from before I was here, and so I think people are responding to it, and, for me having a show that people like and people want more of, that'll dictate my decision."

The first episode of 'Two and a Half Men' in which Ashton appeared set a ratings record for the show, drawing in some 27.7 million viewers - more than double the number who watched the first episode of season eight in 2010.

Sylvester Stallone working on Rambo 5

Sylvester Stallone plans to play John Rambo for one last time in a final instalment of the film franchise.

The 65-year-old actor is working on a fifth 'Rambo' movie - which has also been known as 'Rambo: The Last Stand' - and revealed the Vietnam war veteran turned mercenary will go out in a "blaze of glory".

He said: "There's a volcanic eruption [brewing]. The magma of Rambo is coming to the surface. It's one thing where you lay down the final culmination of your life where you can articulate it, but also act on it where he realises what his destiny really is.

"It's not to be a farmer, it's not to be obscure; it's to go out in a blaze of glory in a heroic fashion. But is he really doing it for himself or is he doing it because that's just his id? That's who he is."

Sylvester - who last appeared as the character in 2008's 'Rambo' - hinted the fifth movie in the series could be set in Mexico and a storyline may revolve around the Latin American country.

Speaking to MTV News, he added: "I like the whole Mexican situation, what's going on down there. So I'm working on a formula for it right now."

Sylvester is currently working on action movies 'The Expendables 2', 'Bullet to the Head' and 'The Tomb' - and he recently admitted he is "dying" to portray John Rambo one more time.
