Indian media is up in arms (or so it seems) to see their most loved star Salman Khan lose his bachelor tag.

Salman and rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur have always been tight-lipped about their relationship status.

When Salman and Iulia made a joint entry at actress Preity Zinta's wedding party the gossip columns took it as a sign of declaration of their union.

Soon after Salman's wedding news broke the internet.

There were reports that the couple will be tying the knot on December 27, 2016 which also happens to be Khan's 51st birthday. But there is no official confirmation on it yet.

The gossip mills worked overtime to churn out stories about Salman and Iulia's relationship.

A few days ago, pictures of Iulia and Romanian star Marius Moga went viral.

And according to reports, Iulia was earlier married to Marius. A report went on to claim that the two were in a four-year long steady relationship before they broke up when Marius got involved with another woman.

Iulia finally broke her silence to all the wedding rumours. She refuted all the rumours of her being married and has also said that she is no hurry to wear her wedding dress.

She took to Instagram and wrote, "Dear friends, I didn't feel the need to react to any rumors... But now I think I should state clearly that I was never married and I am in no hurry to wear my wedding dress. God bless us all! (sic)"

After the wedding rumours, Salman was flooded with congratulatory messages as well has gifts.

The actor didn't really enjoy the unwanted focus on his singlehood and the activism to get him married of.

Recently, when Salman was cornered by media at an event, the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor was not in the best of moods and said, "Why should I tell you about my marriage? I don't even know your name. I will tweet about it. Understand? I would keep my marriage thing between me and my fans."

Fair enough - the groom has the right to announce his own wedding.
