Salman Khan and 'Kick' co-star Jacqueline Fernandez also graced the event but the actor was ignored by the photographers due to their stand not to click him.

The photographer's ban against Salman will reportedly stay in place till the release of 'Kick' on July 25.

Meanwhile, in a clear message that he has no intentions of backing down, Salman Khan has dared the paparazzi to continue with their ban on covering him and to force him apologise on the issue.

"The good part is that the stand they (photographers) have taken, whether it is good or bad, loss or profit..It's a stand and it should continue. I want them to continue with their stand so much so that it brings me down to my knees and makes me apologise to them saying 'don't destroy my career'," Salman said.

Press photographers avoid all promotional events organised by Salman but they did show up for the football match.

Aamir Khan's daughter Ira organised a celebrity football match to raise funds for an organisation that takes care of stray animals.

While, the teenager managed to line up stalwarts like Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Aditya Roy-Kapoor, Sohail Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Tiger Shroff and Kunal Kapoor among others, it was her little brother Azad who stole the lime light.

The toddler also showed his football skills to the amusement of all present at the match.

Although Aamir's team won the match, it was a feast for both teams' fans watching their favourite stars in action for a good cause.

The match was played to invite people from all spheres to donate for a animal welfare organisation via the match held at the Cooperage Football Ground in Mumbai.

Other stars who gave a hand for the cause were Imran Khan, Tiger Shroff, Sohail Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Sushanth Singh, Nargis Fakhri and Dino Morea.
