Salman Khan refuses remake of 'Arya 2'

Salman Khan ruled the Box Office for his spectacular performance in 'Ready' and 'Bodyguard'. Both this films where Salman played the main hero were South remake.

Reportedly, now the actor doesn’t want to do any more southern remakes.

As per reports, Salman was offered 'Arya 2' by UTV, but he refused the offer.

UTV wanted Salman to do the film and also arranged a screening, but after seeing the film he rejected the offer.

The production house officials are trying to understand the reason for his denial. 'Arya 2' is a 2009 Telugu romantic sequel of 'Arya' made in 2003. The film is a love story.

Earlier also Salman has said no to a South Indian remake when he refused Mahesh Babu's Hindi remake of 'Dookudu'. Apparently, Khan wasn't keen on playing a cop for the sixth time in 'Dookudu'.

At the moment when Bollywood is being swept by south remakes, Salman's refusal has baffled many in the industry.
