Salman Khan's star power behind Katrina's sister Isabella

Superstar Salman Khan is putting all his star power behind Katrina Kaif's sister Isabella Kaif's debut film 'Dr Cabbie' which is being produced by Salman's Being Human Production house.

Salman attended the music launch of 'Dr Cabbie' that took place on Sunday in Toronto.

The 'Dabangg' star was in Canada after nearly 10 years and fans greeted him with a rousing welcome.

A 'live' outdoor music event was held at a multiplex (Silvercity Brampton) on Saturday, August 30, with performances by the talented Manj of Manj Music (formerly RDB) who have performed the hit 'Dal Makhni' track in the film.

The cast of the film comprising Vinay Virmani, Kunal Nayyar and Isabelle Kaif were present as well.

The young cast joined Salman on stage and shook a leg for the fans. The entire event was also 'live' streamed.

The red carpet premiere took place on Sunday in Toronto.

'Dr Cabbie' is set to release in Canada on September 19, 2014.

THE PLOT:

An unemployed doctor-turned-cab driver becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile clinic. 

'Dr Cabbie' is the heart-warming journey of a young Indian doctor who immigrates to Canada with the selfless ambition of healing others while beginning a new life in the land of opportunity. 

He discovers his true purpose and true love when he embarks upon this journey of a doctor turned cabbie. 

The film is produced by FirstTake Entertainment and Caramel Films, presented by Salman Khan Being Human [SKBH] Productions and is directed by one of Canada’s most acclaimed directors, Jean-Francois Poulliot.
