Emirates24|7 had earlier raised a question - why is Salman Khan's name being dragged into Jiah Khan suicide case and now it's not just us even Salman Khan finds it ridiculous.
Salman Khan seems upset that for no solid reason his name is being mentioned everywhere as the person who tried to break Jiah and Suraj Pancholi's relationship.
Talking to an Indian daily Salman said, "I was not even aware of Suraj and Jiah's relationship. I got to know of it through a news magazine."
The actor said he has never had any conversation with Aditya Pancholi asking him to intervene in Suraj's relationship matters, and finds the allegation ridiculous.
Salman, who said his sympathy is with the family that has lost a daughter, added that he needed to think about his own life and not interfere in others'.
When Emirates24|7 got in touch with Salman's manager and she said, "We won't like to give any statement about this episode".
When asked why such a statement was made by Jiah's family about Salman, she responded, "You should ask her (Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan) this question."
Rabiya Khan told the police that Salman Khan tried to persuade Suraj Pancholi to get out of the relationship with Jiah Khan.
She also said that Suraj's father Aditya Pancholi was livid when he heard about his son's affair with Jiah and sought Salman's help in the matter.
But she clarified that when Suraj told the actor that he loved Jiah, Salman understood his sentiments and was fine about it.
Salman Khan's production house will be launching Suraj in a remake of 'Hero' and Suraj was also an assistant director in Salman's 'Ek Tha Tiger'.
Jiah's mother also alleged that Suraj's behaviour changed after he signed his debut film with Salman's production house.
With changing circumstances, it is yet to be seen whether Salman will still launch Sooraj or will he rethink on his decision.
But as of now, for no reason Salman Khan's name is being dragged in Jiah Khan suicide episode.
The body of Jiah, 25, was found hanging at her 'Sagar Sangeet' residence in Juhu at around 11 PM on Monday, where she lived with her mother and sister, who were not present when she ended her life.
BUSY SALMAN:
Salman Khan is the one of the busiest man in Bollywood at the moment. He has his plate full with work for this year and next year as well.
His on-going production 'Mental', directed by brother Sohail Khan, is keeping the actor from all social events and away from Mumbai.
It is confirmed that Salman will kick-start producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala’s 'Kick' opposite Jacqueline Fernandez from July 24.
Every second filmmaker seems to want to work with the star. But the busy-bee actor is scrambling for dates to shoot.
Salman has agreed to work with filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Ramesh Taurani, Sooraj Barjatya and Boney Kapoor but is unable to allot them any dates.
