Shah Rukh delays 'Ra.One' after 'Robot'

Actor Shah Rukh Khan's next film has been pushed to a Diwali 2011 release.

Fans of the Bollywood superstar will now have to wait and extra four months after a June 3 release has been put back after it emerged that the special effects for the film would not be finished in time for the release.

"RA.One is Shah Rukh's most ambitious film till date. He is leaving no stone unturned for the production values of the film," a source close to the project told the Times of India.

Apparently the actor wants to put as much distance between his film and Rajnikanth's "Robot", which "Ra.One"  is reportedly similar to.

WIth "Robot" already a huge hit and its special effects a big talking point, Khan wants to ensure his film is nothing less than the best.

The paper quoted its source as saying Khan woudl not settle for anything but the best and that he wanted the special effects of the film to be of the top order, making it a technical feat in Bollywood.

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, who shares screen time with Khan after a long time.
