With Shah Rukh Khan having undergone surgery for his injured shoulder, Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year' gets delayed.
But filmmaker Farah Khan and her team will utilise the time and fly down to Dubai this week to scout for locations and to do some recce.
Emirates24|7 learns that some pivotal scenes from 'Happy New Year' with SRK will be shot in Dubai.
The crew was supposed to shoot certain portions of the film in Mumbai and then head to the UAE in September for a long schedule.
But due to the delay Shah Rukh will directly start shooting in Dubai, after a three month break for his shoulder recovery.
Interestingly, Salman Khan too kicked off the shoot for his next, 'Mental', in Dubai a couple of months back.
Salman and director Sohail Khan shot an entire sequence at the Saif Belhasa Driving Institute and at the Wonderland Theme and Water Park in Al Garhoud.
Even in the past Salman shoot several sequences of his movies in the emirates including his super-hit 'Dabangg' series.
But it is learnt that Shah Rukh won't just shoot a small sequence or a song but will complete most of the feature film here in Dubai.
Prithviraj along with Abhishek Bachchan is likely to star along with Shah Rukh Khan.
The leading lady is still a mystery as no names have been finalised yet.
