Ever Since Alia Bhatt first made her debut with Karan Johar's 'Student Of the Year', the actress has been compared with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Alia in her own words says she is Kareena's 'biggest fan ever' and can never be like her.
With the release of the trailer 'Shaandaar', the rocking chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Alia has already become the talk of the town.

This again brings up the topic of Kareena and how similar the two actresses are.
However, Shahid thinks that there is no similarity between the two ladies.
We are sure Shahid can give a clear picture to us since he dated Kareena once and has worked with both of them.
He acknowledges that it's a big compliment for Alia to be compared with Kareena, since she's an extremely established actress and has done some notable work. But he doesn't see any similarity between the two.
The actor feels both the ladies are original actresses and has their own entity.
The only common aspect, Shahid sees, is that he is doing a love story with both of them.
Shahid also spoke about how Alia agreed to do another of their film 'Udta Punjab' in just two days despite the film's dark subject.
'Shaandaar', directed by Vikas Bahl of 'Queen' fame, is being produced by Phantom Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film, which also stars Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor and Sushma Seth, is slated to release on October 22.
